Dear Senator………… ,
I am a member of the Deaf community in California and use the services of the Deaf Community Services in San Diego (DCS). (OR I am a strong supporter of the services Deaf Community Services in San Diego (DCS) offers to the Deaf Community). I support Assemblymember Mullin’s request to augment the Deaf Access Program (DAP) for $4.1 million. The DAP makes sure Deaf people have access to the services and resources needed to be independent and self-sustaining. As a Deaf person, I face barriers every day to get services, find a job, keep a job, get medical services, or get an education. DCS services help break down the barriers.
Please support this request for $4.1 million augmentation for the Deaf Access Program, Deaf individuals in California need more access to services!
Add whatever experiences you would like to say.
Sincerely,
